Introduction to Fire Performing – a workshop designed for complete beginners to have a safe and controlled introduction to fire performer and learn about the health and safety surrounding the live skills.

This class is also perfect for newer/existing fire performers that would love to refresh their safety knowledge and practical skills

This class will cover:

• Insurance and Risk Assessments 
• Fuel types and Equipment (Maintenance and Fuelling)
• Indoor Safety
• Outdoor Safety
• Hair and Costuming Safety & Demonstrations
• Injuries and Risks to Health
• Practical skills (including body burning, fire eating, extinguishing etc)
• Opportunity to fuel and light bigger props such as Swords & Fans under supervision and guidance

Attendees will also receive a welcome pack containing all of the theory covered to take away with them.
